Clients we work with

Our branding workshop will help your business or organisation determine and clarify your core brand values and target audiences.
The aim of the workshop is:
- To create a consensus amongst all parties responsible for delivering the brand message.
- To define client core values and strengths.
- Use the stakeholders combined knowledge, experience, and creativity to generate new marketing/communication ideas.
- To finalise a set of core brand values that can be carried forward into all client marketing and communication material.
Examples of brand identity workshop exercises we hold
Getting To Know You Questionnaire
This is a set of questions that provides background information about the organisation, such as the history of the organisation, and the types of clients that currently work with the organisation or would like to attract.
Brand Personality Slider
This exercise helps stakeholders to gauge the personality of the brand and what their thoughts are on certain characteristics of the brand.
This is a visual activity that asks participants to place markers on a sliding scale. For example, where do you think the brand sits between being ‘elite’ or ‘mass market’? Another example is asking participants whether they think the brand is ‘serious’ or ‘playful’.
This exercise can often provide interesting results and allows all stakeholders to give their viewpoints on how they think the brand should be portrayed.
Who Is Your Audience?
This exercise asks participants to start thinking about who their target audience is. Often, we will divide this into 4 or 5 key audiences, then start asking questions about what the stakeholders want their audiences to think about how they want the brand to be perceived, and then start discussing how this will be achieved.

Brand Deck
One of our most thought-provoking exercises involves giving participants a set of cards that have alternative words on each side.
The aim of the exercise is to determine what words are most relevant to the core values of the brand. For example, is your brand ‘modern’ or ‘traditional’, ‘reserved’ or ‘welcoming’, ‘serious’ or ‘fun’…you get the idea!
Brand Values Map
The Brand Values Map is to supplement the Brand Deck and will help to uncover Core Values (what the client wishes to be), Company Values (how the client will be viewed), and Tonal Values (the way the client will speak) through a visual diagram.
Persona Reports
Personas are fictional profiles, often developed as a way of representing a particular group such as existing clients or ideal new clients. They represent a ‘character’ with which both your organisation and us as a design team can engage with.
We use these to get different perspectives on your service and to get an indication of the wants and needs of real people. Personas can be constructed as a group activity and are a collation of feedback that embody the real-world perceptions of your organisation’s services.
What type of business or organisation would benefit from a branding workshop?
At Alliance Agency, we follow a collaborative approach to deliver logos that truly capture your brand essence:
Start-up Businesses
Many start-up businesses have a great idea for a service or a product but often find that they don’t fully understand what their core values are or what audience they should be targeting. Our brand workshop will help entrepreneurs and new business owners define who they are as a business, what core values best represent their brand, and what their ideal customers look like.
Established SMEs
Over time, businesses can get caught up with the day-to-day running of their business that they often forget their purpose or their why? Our brand workshop is ideal for those business owners, senior managers, and stakeholders that want to redefine their core values to better understand how they can communicate effectively to their target audience.
Public Sector & Social Enterprises
Public sector organisations, charities, and not-for-profits are often large in size and split into numerous departments. This can often mean that communication doesn’t always work as effectively as it should, resulting in the organisation producing conflicting or confusing messages to the people they serve. Recent events such as the pandemic have resulted in organisations becoming fragmented, with many team members adapting to working from home or splitting time between virtual and in-person workplaces. Our brand workshop helps bring departments together to form a coherent and consistent message through a better understanding of an organisation’s core brand values, customer service journey, and target audience needs.
