We are determined to keep updating our own news section with content that will hopefully be of interest and benefit to you. It’s going to be easier said than done when adding to our increasing workloads but we promise to do our best.
I think the most pleasing thing to comment on (the glass is always half full here, let’s highlight the positives first) is the number of conversations we’ve had with clients, suppliers, friends and business acquaintances regarding how busy they all are. Local small and medium sized businesses certainly here in Newport and the surrounding areas appear to be thriving. It’s not necessarily limited to specific industry sectors either which is great news. Granted, we don’t have hard facts and stats to back up these claims but nonetheless we’re happy to take their word and we’ve seen at first hand the recent successes of our clients.
We’ve also recently welcomed two new retained clients and three new projects to Alliance Marketing and also welcomed our new graphic designer to the team – Kayleigh will have her very own post which will follow shortly.

In other news, we have been doing our best impressions of the late great Cilla (for those under the age of 40 you will have to Google her!) and embarked upon a few matchmaking exercises where we have introduced our clients and suppliers to other parties we think there is a synergy between.
One of our favourites was introducing the MD’s of two rival companies competing in the same market place. Having worked with both in the past and present, we knew they would get on well with each other and most importantly that there would be a lot of mutual benefits to them having a conversation about potential joint working on projects. Both questioned what we were trying to achieve when setting the meeting up but trusted us and following the coffees we shared together its fair to say that both parties will be seeking these opportunities.
