Spanning more than 200 pages, the report captures a wide range of projects, from improving maths pedagogy and assessment strategies to strengthening reading outcomes and supporting diverse learner needs. A Complex Brief with a Fixed Deadline
Alliance Agency was commissioned to design a fully bilingual A4 report that would present this extensive body of work clearly and professionally in both English and Welsh.
The scale of the project was significant:
- Over 200 pages of structured content
- Fully bilingual layout throughout
- 60 printed copies required
- A strict 3 week turnaround from start to print
The challenge was not just volume, but ensuring consistency, clarity, and readability across two languages while maintaining a polished, accessible finish.
Structuring Content for Clarity
The source material included a large volume of Word documents, case studies, and supporting data. Each section followed a similar structure, but varied in length, tone, and complexity.
